About Us

“Camberley’s best kept secret…”

Located:  As a social club in the centre of Camberley, we have been in the same building for 117 years.  Accessed from the A30 London Road slip road, or Service Area 1 we are directly behind Five Sixes Taxis.  We are a very friendly, fully licensed, active club for everyone over 18.  Fully air conditioned bar and function rooms are tranquil with the widest appeal to all ages, professions, religions and social interests.

Our Facilities:  We have 2 full sized snooker tables, a full sized american pool table, 2 x dartboards and 3 separate TV’s each with HD Sky, ESPN and BT Sports.  A £500 jackpot gaming machine.  Free Wi-fi, free to use computer terminal and complementary newspapers.  There is a fully stocked bar, plus a separate meeting room for events, society meetings, social gatherings, birthday parties, celebrations and functions.

Activities:  An active social calendar includes Club based events and external visits to a wide variety of venues – for example: Live Music Evenings, Quiz Nights, Goodwood Racecourse, Windsor Racecourse, Watercress Line, Local Breweries, Golf Society, Poker evenings and a Cribbage Team.

Charities:  The Club has provided support to a number of local charities and Clubs including Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, St Vincent de Paul, RNLI, Help for Heroes, Frimley Park Hospital, Camberley Rugby Club and more.

Our Members:  We have an eclectic membership from many different walks of life and international communities.  We are lucky enough to have members including Artisans, Engineers, Trades-persons, Professionals, Retail, Emergency Services & Sandhurst Royal Military Academy.

Cost:  The club is financially sound which ensures very competitive bar prices.  An annual membership is just £30, which members recoup from the lower Bar prices.

What Now:  Our Steward, Judy, and her staff are very friendly and look forward to welcoming new members.  Membership is open to all and members can invite guests to visit with them – free of charge.

Why not bring a friend and come and see for yourselves – your first drink is “On the House”.   Just ring the doorbell or call us and we look forward to meeting you.  You can apply to join by completing the membership application form – but due to Covid new members can apply but not visit immediately – we will let you know when you can join us.

After very careful consideration and in line with our Covid Policy, the Committee have decided to keep the Club “open” but reduce opening hours by 10% for the next three months, simply avoiding the hours when the bar is quiet.

Tuesday 4:30 – 7.00 pm
Wednesday 12.30 – 10.00 pm
Thursday 2.00 – 10.00 pm
