Golf Society
The Camberley and District Club also has an established golf society that was formed in 1952.
It organises eight events per year at a variety of top courses (within an hour of the club).
Fixtures consist of a coffee and bacon roll breakfast and 18 holes of Stableford golf in the morning. A light lunch, and a further 18 holes team event in the afternoon finished with a
3-course evening meal and prize presentation.
“Duffers” Day
A recent addition to the Society is a “Duffers” section that arranges ad hoc fixtures throughout the year for those who only want to play one game, and caters for the odd higher handicapper to allow equal opportunity of being among the prizes. An enjoyable day’s golfing being the main aim.
